If you have misplaced the pack you received in April when we told you were eligible for an offer, or if you didn’t received one, you can download it here.

If you’d like support with this decision, we recommend that you take financial advice. You can find a list of retirement advisors on MoneyHelper. Remember: all advisers must be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and you should always check the Financial Services Register to make sure the adviser you have chosen is registered.

Accepting your offer

If you’d like to take your RSP Section pension pot as a one-off cash sum, the quickest way to accept your offer is online via Aon’s secure portal. Alternatively, you can accept your offer by post or by email. You must respond by the deadline on your offer letter to guarantee payment of your cash sum.

To accept your offer online, visit Aon’s secure portal and click ‘Register’. You will need to log in using your National Insurance number and your reference number which is at the top of your offer letter.

To accept your offer by post, complete the form enclosed with your offer letter, and return it to Aon at:

If you don’t accept your offer by the deadline given on your offer letter, we will assume you do not want to accept the offer and want to take your RSP Section pension pot when you retire at a later date.

Declining your offer

If you don’t want to accept your WULS offer, you do not need to do anything. Your benefits will be transferred to Aviva to look after. Once this happens, you will hold an individual policy with Aviva, and they will be responsible for paying your pension benefits when you choose to take them.
